Prague Castle and football

Yesterday we went to the Prague castle for the day, yes it took at day to get through the place. Learned about the castle, got to walk inside the walls, see the church, armor, weapons and the torture tower. It surprised me that it was more a complex rather than one big building.

So while we have been over here it has been Euro Fest 2008 (European football (soccer) championship). People over here are crazy for their teams! In the center of Prague's old town there is a giant screen set up and a stage in the middle of the square. Every night they play the two games of the night. Last night the Czech Republic played Portugal-I have never seen anything quite like it. The Czech Republic ended up losing but it was still great fun. Both Germany and the Netherlands still get to play again, hopefully they will win!

Oh and by the way everyone smokes over here, i think we both smoked at least a pack of smokes while watching the game!
