Made it to Amsterdam

2015 Sunday

My morning was rather uneventful-almost all the stores in Berlin are closed on sundays. The supermarket opened at 1100 and there was a giant line outside to get in. Crazy. I ran in and got some food for the train and made my way to the main trainstation-I was nice and early.

Funny thing is I had to go to Hannover Germany first and then get on the train to Amsterdam-the train I got in Hannover left Berlin after I did, infact I was waiting for that train and the people told me that is what train I was supposed to get on-but I wasn't! Got on one of the express trains to Hannover-250km/hr and then waited for 45 minutes for the train to Amsterdam (it was 45 minutes late!). No one checked my ticket the entire was and every once in a while Amsterdam was mentioned overhead and I figured I was going the right way.

Arrived in Amsterdam and found my way back to the Hostel we stayed at first-no problem! Brian you were right :)

Town seems a little down today-The Dutch lost last night in football in soccer.

Off to the airport tomorrow AM-hopefully my phone won't die because then I won't have an alarm. Only one little battery bar left.
