Bone church and more Prague

Saturday 2015

So yesterday we went to Kutna Hora, a 1 hour train ride outside of Prague to a bone church. Which ended up being really small and we had pretty much seen everything by watching the Rick Steeves goes to Prague-but it was interesting anyway. (bone chandler)We then walked around the town and found a couple of pottery stores (yes a couple!). We had Budweiser on tap and it was pretty tasty. Then we had a little adventure trying to get back to Prague and got to stand the entire train ride back into Prague.

Last night we got some pizza (still not as good as Italy-but I wasn't expecting it to be as good.) Then we ventured out into the square and watched the France vs. Netherlands football game. We are hoping the Netherlands wins-I think we have to with the Dutch last name! It was a great game and the Netherlands won 3-1.

Today we went and walked up to the Hunger wall (a wall which the king had the people build and he would give them food, I guess cause he didn't just want to given them food.) We also walked across the Charles Bridge and touched the statue of the guy falling off the bridge-I guess it is good luck, seems backwards to me. We have just been walking and walking and walking and are starting to get to know our way around.

We went to the store and got some beer and are now heading to the square to watch some football. Miss everyone and all our love-a & b

That bone chandelier is rather creepy. Where does a church get the bones of so many humans? It seems potentially sacreligious go have so many human remains hanging from the ceiling, but I guess one doesn't have to look much farther to see other areas where the church has made mistakes in the past, or followers distortion religion to heathenistic proportions.
On a side note: Proliferating Myositis.
